Faith Formation Ministry

General Information

The Faith Formation Ministry at St. Matthias provides catechetical programs for all ages at St. Matthias Catholic Church. The tasks of catechesis are:

  • Promoting knowledge of the faith
  • Deepening understanding of the liturgy and Sacraments
  • Promoting moral formation in Jesus Christ
  • Preparing Christians to live in community
  • Promoting a missionary spirit

Programs

  • Pre-School Program: Sunday 11:00 to Noon
  • Elementary Age Programs: Monday 6:15 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
  • Junior High Program: Tuesday 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M
  • Reconciliation Classes: February
  • First Eucharist Classes: April
  • Confirmation: Tuesday 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M
  • Parent Meetings for Sacraments
